Approved by Weihai municipal government in 2003, Weihai Textile Dyeing and Finishing Industrial Complex is a specialized zone for textile dyeing and finishing, with a total planning area of 6 square kilometers. Located at the western part of the city proper, the complex is mainly composed of 4 parts such as textile dyeing and finishing, garments processing, etc.
Advantageous position and high standard infrastructure enable the complex to be the top choice for business establishment. For example, a heat and power plant, with a daily steam supply of 160-200 tons, and an industrial wastewater disposal station and domestic sewage disposal station as well, with a daily disposal capacity of 20,000 tons. The daily water and power supply for industrial use total to 30,000 tons and 4 million kwh. Pipelines for steam, piping gas, cable TV, communication and tap water are also available now. By now, 10 enterprises such as Sungmin Textile, Xingjin Dyeing and Weaving, Woo-sung Dyeing and Weaving, O-sung TEX, BC Textile from home and abroad have been developing here. |
