Taiwan Industrial Complex, occupying an area of 7.5 square kilometers, is situated at the spot 3 kilometers in the north of the silvery beach tourism vocational zone and is developed into an investment arena for Taiwan-invested projects. Enjoying distinctive regional advantages, the complex equals a strategic link for the contingence of the three complexes in Rushan. In 2007, it was listed as one of the top ten largest Tanwai Industrial Complexes in Shandong Province.
Coordinated measures have been taken on infrastructures to keep up with the development of the projects. At present, a heating power plant with a total investment of 500 million yuan has been built and water demand of industrial use is met up to 30,000 cubic meters per day.
Within the territory of Rushan city, the local power grid is connected with the large ones of Shandong Province. Double return circuit power supply reach up to 35,000 kilowatt/h. Pipelines for gas, cable TV, communication, afforesting, ecotype sewage treatment, etc, have also been put into place.
In order to enlarge the load-bearing capacity of the complex, a ten-kilometer artery—Taiwai Road has been planned. It links Jinyin Road in the west and Yinjin Road in the east, with a width of 100 meters. The artery mainly reaches up to Rushankou Harbor and will constitute main artery grid for Taiwan Industrial Complex with Jinyin Road, Changjiang Road and Yinjin Road. Meanwhile, in order to meet the demand of power and water supply of newly invested projects, such facilities as 1000KVA transformer, 10KV electricity-supplying line and water-supplying pipeline with diameter of 1 meter, etc have been installed to ensure electricity, water for industrial use and drinking water as well. And the government will implement preferential policies to ensure the smooth advancement of the project. |
